Questions We Get Asked a Lot.

How much can I expect to improve?

Improvements depend on many individual factors, however as a general rule you should expect to see considerable improvements. 5-10% of FTP within 3 months and year on year improvements of 15%.

What will I learn?

One of the things that I enjoy most as a coach is passing as much knowledge as possible onto my athletes. I have found that the more knowledgeable an athlete is about their training the more effective I am as a coach. You should expect to learn about the physiology of endurance champions, basis of FTP, training zones, peaking and tapering, session analysis and much more!

Do you also coach tri athletes?

Whilst my specialty is in cycling specific coaching I also coach a number of triathletes, multisport and adventure racing athletes. Especially those whose focus is on improving the all-important cycling discipline.

What equipment do I need to sign up?

To sign up with Sydney Cycling Coaching you will be required to have at a minimum GPS and Heart rate recording capabilities. For higher level programs power meters are highly encouraged both for indoor and outdoor use. Once you train with power you won’t go back.

Do you coach recreational and master’s athletes?

We coach athletes of all back grounds and abilities. The key to success with Sydney Cycling Coaching program is dedication, focus and commitment.
