Strength and Conditioning

At Sydney Cycling Coaching we take a scientific approach to your strength and conditioning.

Strength training has a wide range of benefits when designed to be implemented alongside your regular cycling training.

When properly implemented strength training will help you improve your maximal power output, muscular endurance and cycling economy. Strength training will allow you to ride faster with less wasted energy, balance out old injuries and prevent new injuries occurring.

For our triathlete friends the benefits of strength training are even wider ranging with running speed and economy being vastly improved with the addition of a strength and power program.

We also offer tailored programs for master’s level athletes who feel that their strength and power isn’t quite as good as it used to be.
